Regarding some concerns of people wishing to open a shop selling imported fire protection equipment for factories, the Ministry of Public Security has just responded.

According to the Ministry of Public Security, to do business in this area, enterprises must meet the following requirements:

The head, the legal representative of the business establishment must have a diploma or certificate of training in fire prevention and fighting knowledge and be the person whose name is in one of the following documents: certificate of business registration; investment registration certificate; certificate of operation registration of the branch or affiliated unit of the enterprise; permits from competent state management agencies; certificate of business household registration as prescribed in Clause 2, Article 41 of Decree No. 136/2020/ND-CP dated November 24, 2020, of the Government.

A certificate of eligibility for fire prevention and fighting service business is granted by a competent police agency as prescribed in Clause 13, Article 45 of Decree No. 136/2020/ND-CP.
